Lately I have been busy brainstorming our plans for the nursery. The room is the perfect little quaint size right across the hallway from our bedroom. It’s perfect for a nursery and was always just waiting for a baby ;). For the past year we had well intentions to make it an office, but somehow it became filled with all of our storage. And by storage, I mean junk :/. At one point, I don’t think you could walk in the room without stepping on something. Whoops. So, needless to say, cleaning and organizing it was a project in and of itself. We spent two weekends working on it, and I can finally say it is ready for to be decorated! Well, almost … we still have to touch up some trim paint.
If you follow me on instagram, then you know that we recently purchased a rug for the nursery and I am *crazy* about it. We’re basing the room around the rug, and going for a bohemian modern vibe. Lot’s of white with pops of color, like teal and pink, and maybe some abstract art work. Below is a little inspiration I’ve compiled if you’d like to see!
ONE – Ikea Utility Cart | TWO – Ikea Hemnes Dresser | THREE – Midcentury Style Rocker | FOUR – Babsouk Boucherouite Rug | FIVE – Hand Woven Basket | SIX – Moroccan Style Gold Pouf | SEVEN – Ikea Faux Sheepkin | EIGHT – Kindah Khalidy Print | NINE – Ikea Gulliver Crib
Can’t wait for it to all come together and to share more!
