We headed up to Boston for a wedding, so we decided to make a trip out of it and do some exploring while we were there. I think we got there right before it got unbearably cold. While it was 70’s in South Carolina, we were in a high of 52 up in the Boston area. It was perfectly chilly, and we loved exploring while the leaves were still intact and falling. I highly recommend the Boston area in the fall.
We spent one day exploring Boston, and another day exploring Rockport, Massachusetts. Fun story, it’s where my parents visited when they were dating and claim “where they fell in love.” ;) It was fun to ride along the coast with them and hear of all the places they explored together.
Fall is my hands down favorite time of the year, and I try to do as much as I can outside to enjoy the beautiful weather before it gets too cold. I’ve partnered with my friend Stephanie from Olive and Tate to bring you the perfect fall afternoon: an outdoor picnic! It’s perfect for connecting with a girlfriend over lunch, or for a play date with kids.

This week is an exciting week, because it’s Fashion on the Town! I’m so excited to visit and shop all of Greenville’s best boutiques on Thursday and Friday from 12 pm – 9 pm. It’s a great time to get beautiful pieces at great discounts, and to support local businesses.
I visited Cocobella recently, and fell in love with this plaid dress. I am all about fall plaid, and this dress is the perfect length to pair with over the knee boots (another favorite!).
If you’re in the Greenville area, make sure to come shop with us for Fashion on the Town on October 19th and 20th! Hope to see you there!!
No matter how much I love bright colors and sundresses, when it comes to fashion I always feel like their is an inner rockstar inside somewhere where grunge meets glam. When I found these amazing sparkly earrings during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year, I immediately fell in love. I love how you can dress them up for a fancy event, or dress them down with grungy denim like I did here. The perfect look for a date night, or girls night out on the town. If you’re really adventurous, throw a leather jacket on and you’re set for Fall.
