As far as health goes, I feel like I learned a lot during my first pregnancy, that I’ve been able to put into practice this round. There are so many reasons to really focus on your health while you’re pregnant. Number one, healthy mom equals healthy baby! Number two, you’ll feel better and I truly believe it’ll impact the labor and delivery, and postpartum period for the better. Whether it’s eating, exercise, or rest, I’ve already seen the benefits of some of the changes I’ve made.
Valentine’s day is this week, and I am so excited! Scofield and I are planning a little one night getaway and date night, and I am so looking forward to a night away. I love valentine’s day because I feel like it means spring is just right around the corner, right!? Anyway, today I wanted to share with you guys my valentine’s date night look for a night on the town. Sometimes we love to do a fancy dinner in, and I’m all about dressing up for that, but this look would be perfect for a nice date out. I always love a little excuse to get dressed up!
One of my favorite blogger gal pals, Rachel, was in town recently and I was so excited to get to snag an afternoon with her. It’s so fun when you’ve built a friendship online, and then get to carry that friendship out into real life. One of my all time favorite photographers, Jessi, is a good friend of mine and photographed Rachel’s wedding (what a small world!), and hung out with us for the afternoon too!
Rachel is a super hustler, and such an inspiration to me as I watch her grow her business and create beautiful content. When she reached out to connect and collaborate, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!
Running a small online business can be many things: lonely, overwhelming, scary, stressful. That’s why it’s so so important to find those around you who understand the business side of things, support you, inspire you, and cheer you on. Plus, there’s so much you can learn from each other!
I’m always looking for comfortable clothing (for all the toddler chasing I do these days), but that’s also cute and makes me feel put together. This PinkBlush sweatshirt is so cozy, and perfect for your everyday casual maternity style. It has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe! I love to throw it on with a pair of jeans and tennis shoes. It’s perfect for errands, working out, or a coffee and flower run. On extra chilly days (which we’ve had here lately), it’s light enough to fit under a heavier coat. It’s literally one of the most versatile pieces and I highly recommend it if you’re expecting (or not! – they have a nonmaternity version too).
