One of my favorite blogger gal pals, Rachel, was in town recently and I was so excited to get to snag an afternoon with her. It’s so fun when you’ve built a friendship online, and then get to carry that friendship out into real life. One of my all time favorite photographers, Jessi, is a good friend of mine and photographed Rachel’s wedding (what a small world!), and hung out with us for the afternoon too!
Rachel is a super hustler, and such an inspiration to me as I watch her grow her business and create beautiful content. When she reached out to connect and collaborate, I couldn’t say yes fast enough!
Running a small online business can be many things: lonely, overwhelming, scary, stressful. That’s why it’s so so important to find those around you who understand the business side of things, support you, inspire you, and cheer you on. Plus, there’s so much you can learn from each other!
I’m always looking for comfortable clothing (for all the toddler chasing I do these days), but that’s also cute and makes me feel put together. This PinkBlush sweatshirt is so cozy, and perfect for your everyday casual maternity style. It has quickly become a staple in my wardrobe! I love to throw it on with a pair of jeans and tennis shoes. It’s perfect for errands, working out, or a coffee and flower run. On extra chilly days (which we’ve had here lately), it’s light enough to fit under a heavier coat. It’s literally one of the most versatile pieces and I highly recommend it if you’re expecting (or not! – they have a nonmaternity version too).
Christmas is just a few days away, and I have the perfect holiday look with Pink Blush Maternity for all you pregnant mamas out there. I am a huge fan of over the knee boots, and I snagged a new pair this year with a much lower heel than my other pair, so they are more every-day and pregnancy friendly. I paired them with a pinkblush maternity sweater, festive earrings and purse. I love this sweater, number one – because it’s back and slimming ;). Number 2 – You don’t have to sacrifice fashion when wearing maternity clothes. I kept my outfit basic and black, and then added fun accessories that really pop. I also pulled out the red lipstick for the holidays ;).
We decided to get a mini christmas tree for Piper’s room this year, and I’m so glad we did. She loves to go up to it and admire her ornamanets, and she always points to it and says “christmas tree.” We went to target together and she helped me pick out each ornament, which makes it extra special to me. She particularly loves the elephants and the nutcrackers ;). I’m going to be so sad to take it down when Christmas is over. My good friend Jessi snagged some pictures of us decorating it, and I’m so glad I have these. Piper is growing so fast right before our eyes and I want to remember everything, and hang onto every moment.
