One of my favorite spots when we visited Rockport was the little harbor. The views were gorgeous, and apparently this red building is one of the most photographed spots in the United States! I realized I didn’t share all the pictures here, so wanted to share a couple more today!
We are back from our stay at Hotel Domestique (can’t wait to share more soon!), and I wanted to share with you guys some of my fashion favorites right now. One of them being this absolutely amazing skirt. I invested in this maternity piece when I was pregnant with Piper (and a dress from the same line), and it has already served me so well through this pregnancy. It is the stretchiest, coziest skirt that will carry you all through your pregnancy. It is not restrictive in the least bit, but still makes you feel inviting and put together. I’ve dressed it up or down, wearing it out and about to run errands, to work, or on date night.
I also love how high it comes, giving the rest of your wardrobe a bit of a longer run. Surprise: this blouse isn’t maternity. A lot of my blouses I can still wear with this piece by tucking them in, hooray! I’m getting to the point where most things are uncomfortable, besides maternity clothes, so I welcome this cozy stretchy skirt. For all you pregnant (or postpartum) mamas, I highly recommend it! You can shop it, here. You’re welcome ;)
We headed up to Boston for a wedding, so we decided to make a trip out of it and do some exploring while we were there. I think we got there right before it got unbearably cold. While it was 70’s in South Carolina, we were in a high of 52 up in the Boston area. It was perfectly chilly, and we loved exploring while the leaves were still intact and falling. I highly recommend the Boston area in the fall.
We spent one day exploring Boston, and another day exploring Rockport, Massachusetts. Fun story, it’s where my parents visited when they were dating and claim “where they fell in love.” ;) It was fun to ride along the coast with them and hear of all the places they explored together.
Fall is my hands down favorite time of the year, and I try to do as much as I can outside to enjoy the beautiful weather before it gets too cold. I’ve partnered with my friend Stephanie from Olive and Tate to bring you the perfect fall afternoon: an outdoor picnic! It’s perfect for connecting with a girlfriend over lunch, or for a play date with kids.
