The amount of things on my to-do list daily seem endless at times, so I’m always looking for ways to make life a little easier and to give me more free time with my family. That’s why I’m so excited to have discovered Shipt and all they have to offer. Shipt is an on demand grocery delivery service that started in Alabama, but is now serving more than 50 cities, including Greenville! You simply download the app or go online, and you can pick the store you want to shop at, then you place your order online. When you checkout, you pick what time you would like your groceries to arrive a Shipt employee brings them right to your door! Amazing, right!?
I love that you can see the total before you pay, allowing you to add or remove things from your cart if needed. We have a pretty strict grocery budget, but I struggle to stay in budget in the store, so using Shipt has really helped keep me on track.
You can pick from a variety of stores, like Lidl, whole foods, and publix. When you enter your address, the app will give you grocery stores in your area. I’ve used whole foods with Shipt, but have recently started using Lidl and love all the savings! They always have great deals going on and you can even get a wide range of organic options.
When we’re running low on essentials, but I don’t need to make a full trip to the store, I’ll place a quick Shipt order and get it brought to me!
I have been craving la croix this entire pregnancy, and I can’t go a day without it (although my husband disagrees, ha). When we’re running low, getting more becomes an emergency! ;)
I always keep granola bars my purse or diaper bag hen we’re out and about. I’ve always been prone to low blood sugar, and being pregnant it’s even worse when hunger strikes. Having a healthy snack option on hand keeps me from making more choices in the spur of the moment. I love these Lidl brand nut bars that are very similar to Kind bars.
And we can’t forget the baking essentials! I’m trying to get Piper in the kitchen more often since she loves to bake. Well, she loves to eat the finished product the most ;). With Christmas coming up, I try to stay stocked up on my baking essentials since we like to bake for family and friends as presents, a well as for ourselves.
I’ve fallen in love with this yogurt. I love that it’s lower in sugar, only 100 calories, and 14 grams of protein. Piper and I will both eat it as part of breakfast or for a snack. I also love to throw some dark chocolate chips into the raspberry flavored one and eat it as a treat at night.
Using Shipt has given me more time at home spending time with the ones I love. I don’t know if you’ve ever been grocery shopping with a toddler, but I’m pretty sure it’s where all of their best tantrums seem to happen. I’d much rather spend my time home playing with her, or accomplishing the 5,000 other things on my list ;)
Have you tried Shipt or Lidl? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Happy shopping!
