Fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons, and I love to add little touches of fall around the house. With the help of my mother in law who is an expert with plants, we put together a fall front porch that I am loving. Driving up to our decorated fall porch makes me so happy, and I thought I would share a look at it with you guys here.
Somehow most of the decor in our house incorporates pink (still have no idea how I’ve gotten Scofield to agree ;)), and so I wanted our decor to flow with the rest of my style. I’ve also never been a huge fan of the classic orange and yellow look for fall. I grabbed some white and pink mums, and pumpkins from trader joe’s. I love the “fairytale” pumpkins, and that they come in gray, white, and light orange.
I don’t have it pictured, but we also planted some pansies in the front flower bed and the yellow and purple blooms add a lot of color and flow into the front porch really well. It’s been so fun to put it all together, and I love to drink my coffee on the pew and enjoy the front porch in the morning. Piper loves it too, every time we go outside she exclaims “pumpkin!”
What are your halloween plans tonight? We are taking Piper trick or treating for the first time and then coming home to make some chili. Happy halloween!
