One thing we have been trying to do more of is reading with P. It’s so good for their development, and she loves our reading time so much! I love sneaking in on Scofield reading to her, using all kinds of voice inflections and making her giggle like only a daddy can. It’s my favorite.
It’s been so fun watching her become more aware and observant, the older she gets. When she’s not trying to eat the books, she gets lost in the different colors on all the pages and loves touching the books with different textures. At this point, board books are still on the top of our list because she has been known to rip a book or two.
Her nursery is still a work in progress, and we have been thinking through a way to store all of her books. I wanted to store them in a way that was cute, easily accessible, and no-fuss clean up. I absolutely love this blue herringbone basket from Uncommon Goods. It’s the perfect size to hold all of her books, and looks so cute sitting in her room. To clean up, we just toss them all back in the bin, and voila!
I recently discovered Uncommon Goods, and love their mission to provide recycled, organic products and their goal of having a positive impact in the workplace, and the world. I discovered so many fun artists, and products browsing the website and love all the fun products they offer. It’s the perfect place to shop for birthday gifts, baby shower, or baby gifts. If you’re looking for little knick knacks to fill your nursery or home, or a thoughtful gift for a friend, Uncommon Goods is a great place to start!
