The other week I was heading downtown to meet my friend Jessi when it started snowing … like pouring snow. But of course it wasn’t cold enough to really stick, so the moment it touched you or touched the ground it melted. And then about 15 minutes after it started, it stopped. I pointed out that living here in South Carolina, we can usually expect one little snow storm a year. And of course it isn’t during the Christmas season. We typically have our winter wonderland (if we have one at all) right at the end of the winter season. (You can see some pictures from a previous snowfall here.) It’ll snow one weekend and be 30 degrees, and then bam, the next weekend it’s sunny and 60 degrees. Sadly this year there’s been no major storm – just little bits here and there and some freezing rain. But I did enjoy the brief snowfall on this particular day. I’ll take what I can get ;).
It might be cold as can be today, but that means spring is almost here! ;) Happy Friday, guys!
